Mark G Auerbach Public Relations July Client Newsletter

Dear Clients, Colleagues and Friends,

We’re pleased to showcase our clients’ activities during this unusual summer season.
The Longmeadow Adult Community Center Fund will soon launch the public phase of its capital campaign to furnish the new community center, now under construction on Maple Road in Longmeadow, MA. The Campaign has already raised over $450,000, and now, with a $50,000 matching challenge grant in place, hopes to raise $750,000 total. The Board of Directors are all community members from Longmeadow.

The Capitol Steps has suspended all live performances in Washington, DC and on tour, until it is deemed safe for audiences and performers alike. Their website and YouTube channels have plenty of archival materials. For updated performance information: http://www.capsteps.com/live/

Gaslight Entertainment, producers of Westfield Concerts, has tentatively rescheduled A Roomful of Blues to September 18, and plan to announce their new season in late summer. Co-founder Jay Paglauica is co-producing the new Studio 120 Sessions, featuring area musicians in concert, for WCPC15 and 89.5fm/WSKB. To view Studio 120 Sessions, visit the Westfield Community Programming YouTube page. For details on Westfield Concerts: www.westfieldconcerts.com.

One of the toughest parts of this new pandemic work mode has been having to adjust staffing. I want to thank and commend my colleague Ben Jacek, who has been working with us, since he was in high school. He's a full-time university student, full-time EMT and firefighter, and has been managing all of our client social media needs. Although I think he prefers putting out fires in forests rather than on Facebook, he's our first responder whenever the clients need something. Thanks, Ben.
Stay safe and be well!
