Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative hosts the 5th annual Posh Picnic at Tanglewood on July 22. Kent Jones, whose new film, Diane, stars Mary Kay Place and won Best U.S. Narrative Feature, Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival, will be honored..Posh Picnic includes tickets to Tanglewood, the picnic, a Bloody Mary bar, and more. The Capitol Steps perform every Friday and Saturday in the Amphitheater at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, DC. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. They also perform throughout the year at theatres coast-to-coast. Look for them at Cranwell in the Berkshires this summer. through August 31. Their new CD, Make America Grin Again, comes out this  month, and they'll have a new Politics Takes a Holiday radio special around July 4th..At Cranwell, public TV station WGBY is filming a Capitol Steps segment for their news magazine Connecting Point, and 89.5fm/WSKB is recording a special for broadcast this month. Kevin Rhodes is preparing for his upcoming season which includes the Springfield MA Symphony’s 75th anniversary, The Traverse Symphony in MI and the Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra in Boston.
