CROSS-CULTURE JOURNEYS INTRODUCES TRAVEL PROGRAMS TO MOROCCO, TUNISIA, ISRAEL AND JORDAN, AND THE PRESIDENT'S CRUISE TO THE ADRIATIC

Cross-Culture's new "Discover Morocco: A Cultural Journey", a 14 day/12 night small-group tour visits the cities, deserts and kasbahs of North Africa's exotic country with stops in Casablanca, Marrakech, and Rabat. Tour highlights include guided tours of Rabat's kasbah, masoleum, and Andalucian gardens; the spiritual capital of Fez; a desert camel ride in the Erg Chebbi sand dunes; the Roman city of Volubilis; the Road of a thousand Kasbah in the high Atlas mountains; the gardens and palaces of Marrakech, the coastal town of Essaouira, and a stop at a Berber village. Cross-Culture Journeys ' Archeological and Cultural Treasures of Tunisia, offers another new travel program in Northern Africa. The 12 days / 10 night itinerary combines Mediterranean beaches, the Sahara Desert, the famous Phoenician city of Carthage; infused by the Arab Muslims who conquered the region in the 7th century; the Normans who came along in the 12th century, and the French who followed in the 19th century, and you have Tunisia. The program visits  North Africa's largest Medina in Tunisia's cosmopolitan capital Tunis, the ruins of Carthage; a  venture into the Sahara by 4-wheel drive and rail, overnight at an oasis; visits to landscapes used in the movies "Raiders of the Lost Ark" and "Star Wars", and Berber villages, ancient synagogues and mosques, ocal spice markets and bazaars. Cross-Culture Journey's Israel & Jordan: A Journey Through The Ages (14 days / 12 nights) visits the eastern Mediterranean region sacred to Jews, Christians, and Muslims. the tour includes visits to Jerusalem, the center of the three religions' spiiritual history; modern Tel Aviv, the Roman ruins at Caesaria, the buoyant waters of The Dead Sea; Masada and other Biblical sites; and Jordan's ancient rose-hued city of Petra and Madaba, the city of Mosaics.
