Kevin Rhodes begins the month at The Vienna State Opera Ballet conducting performances of a program of ballets by George Balanchine, John Neumeier, and Jerome Robbins on May 3-5, before returning to the USA to conduct performances with Boston’s Pro Arte Chamber Orchestra on May 12, and Rachmaninoff programs with the Springfield Symphony on May 19, and the Traverse Symphony in MI on June 2. Jeanne Yocum, publisher of the award-winning blog Succeeding in Small Business, released her new book, The Self-Employment Survival Guide: Proven Strategies to Succeed as Your Own Boss, published by Rowman and Littlefield. I’m quoted in the book! Jeanne’s book tour continues on May 4 at Recyclique in Durham, NC and May 17 at the Durham Public Library. She’ll be the featured speaker at the South Shore Women’s Business Network on June 21 in Hingham, MA and at AmherstWorks in Amherst, MA, and she’ll appear at Blue Umbrella Books in Westfield, MA on June 23. The Capitol Steps perform every Friday and Saturday in the Amphitheater at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, DC.
