Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative Hosts Hampshire County
Networking Event for Film and Media Industry on Thursday, February 6
in Hadley, MA

[Hadley, MA]—The Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative (BFMC) will be hosting its fifth networking event for the film/media industry on Thursday, February 6th at the Hadley Farms Meeting House in Hadley, MA from 6-8:00pm. Admission is free though contributions are welcome. This unique event will allow local professionals to meet each other and learn about regional film and media opportunities in western Massachusetts.

The event will feature guest speaker Carol Patton, publisher of IMAGINE Magazine, the premiere magazine for film, television, and new media in the Northeast. Following her speech, attendees will have the chance to network. Hors d’oeuvres will be served with a cash bar. RSVP is required.  Call 413 528 4223 for tickets.

The Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative has hosted a quarterly networking event in each of the western Massachusetts counties over the past year: Northampton, Springfield, Greenfield and Lenox.

“Our focus is to create new business opportunities for our local film and media artists, “says Diane Pearlman, Executive Director of BFMC. “It’s exciting to see people meet other creatives from down the street or the next town. New business relationships are always sparked.”

The event is generously sponsored by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, Tanglewood, Hadley Farms Meeting House, Limelight Productions, and the Economic Development Council of Western Mass.

The Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative creates educational, workforce and production opportunities in the film and media industry as an economic initiative for the Berkshire region of western Massachusetts. The Berkshire Film and Media Collaborative is a non-profit organization and a fund of the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) public charity.
