Popular “Says You!” panelist Tony Kahn and his wife, author Harriet Reisen, will lead the “Says You!” trip to Holland (April 17-25) instead of creator/host Richard Sher. In his multifaceted career Tony Kahn has lent his talents to several public broadcasting landmarks. He was the first host of PRI’s “The World”, the original writer for ZOOM and narrator of a dozen NOVA programs. His NPR documentary drama Blacklisted, about the Hollywood blacklist of the 1950s, tells a story inseparable from that of Tony’s own family. Among his other productions is the long-running podcast series WGBH Morning Stories, which you can hear at tonykahn.com.
Tony’s wife Harriet Reisen will also join us on the cruise. She is best known for her highly praised biography Louisa May Alcott: The Woman Behind Little Women, which The Wall Street Journal named one of 2009’s Standout Selections. Her documentary based on the book won awards at several festivals and premiered on PBS stations last December. (www.alcottfilm.com)
The Holland trip was coordinated by our client Cross-Culture Journeys (www.ccjourneys.com). The trip is sold out.

New Client: Says You!
Pipit & Finch, producers of public radio's "Says You!", have asked us to partner with them on some marketing and tour promotion activities. The program is a witty word game heard coast-to-coast on public radio stations, and the cast often tapes performances for broadcast in front of live audiences.
I produced a live taping of "Says You!" as part of WFCR's Special Events Series in 2006. It was a pleasure to work with host Richard Sher and company; I became a fan of the weekly show immediately. It will now be a great opportunity for several of my colleagues and me to partner with the "Says You!" team to bring live shows coast to coast.
The Says You! troupe kicked off 2009 with a New Year's Eve performance in Seattle; they recently returned from Valentine's Day performances in Los Angeles. Upcoming performances on the schedule include: Camden, Maine in March and San Francisco in May.
Details on those performances, including ticket information, are available at the show's website:
www.saysyou.net.
Says You! has a Facebook page. Anyone can join, if they're a member of Facebook:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=42156535838&ref=ts
It will be a great opportunity for my colleagues and me to partner with the "Says You!" team to bring live radio coast to coast. If you're interested in bringing "Says You!" to your town, let me know.
