I’m planning to take a few days off, beginning Friday, August 30. I’ll be back to work on Tuesday, September 3. Hope you all have a great Labor Day Weekend.

We’re proud to share our clients’ activities

The Big Broadcast!, the 15th annual recreation of a live 1940s radio broadcast, created an directed by Mark Gionfriddo, and performed by The Jazz Ensembles of Mount Holyoke College, returns to Chapin Auditorium on March 7. Performance details and ticket information will be announced in October.

The Capitol Steps perform their new show, The Lyin’ Kings every Friday and Saturday at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. You can see them perform throughout the year at theatres coast-to-coast, including a return to New York City in November. The Capitol Steps will swing through Western New England on their Fall tour, which include stops at The Academy of Music Theatre in Northampton on October 18; The Warner Theatre in Torrington, CT on October 19, and then on to Cambridge for their annual Thanksgiving weekend performances on November 30.  http://capsteps.com/  You can now find The Capitol Steps on Instagram @thecapitolsteps

Although The Westfield News Group has merged with Reminder Publications, which is owned by The Republican, my weekly ArtsBeat column runs in print on Thursdays and online Wednesdays. 

ArtsBeat Radio returns to the airwaves on 89.5fm/WSKB on September. 20 with guest actor/playwright Ben Scranton. On September 27, we preview the Bushnell's upcoming Broadway series with Paul Marte.  We’ll be originating the program from new studios at Westfield Technical Academy which will tape programs for radio and film them for Westfield Comcast 15.

Finally, thanks to everyone who encouraged me and cheered me up in the days and weeks and months following my accident, surgeries, and rehab and recovery. I'm about 75% back to full-steam, and each week, I get stronger.
